Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Skydive Chiang Mai (the “Dropzone”) are accepted. The Terms and Conditions below are for bookings made directly via the dropzone’ websites and payments via payment gateway systems through Omise Co., Ltd. These may be operated by different entities and you will be directed to the corresponding Terms and Conditions for your reservation.

By using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted. Your use of some parts or features of the site may be governed by additional Terms and Conditions. Where this is the case you will be notified accordingly of those additional Terms and Conditions.

GUARANTEE POLICY

A valid credit card is required at booking time. The credit card used at the time of booking must be presented by the customer together with positive identification upon check-in at the dropzone. An imprint or swipe of the card will be taken upon check-in.
Upon departure from the dropzone, all fees for services rendered shall be payable by the customer and where necessary the credit card will be debited by the dropzone for the fees.

The dropzone shall debit the credit card for all cancellations, no shows or for any damages caused by the customer to the dropzone howsoever arising. This transaction constitutes an electronic transaction and a binding agreement in terms of which the customer authorizes the property to debit the credit card as stated above and the guest’s written signature shall not be required for authorization purposes.

ON YOUR JUMP DATE

Ensure to arrive at the dropzone at least one to two hours before the jump time as boarding time is about 15 minutes before. Failure to arrive at dropzone before boarding time will be counted as a no-show.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Each rate booked at a Skydive Chiang Mai is subject to a Cancellation Policy. All booking are non-refundable but you can choose to change your booking to another date and time (subject to availability) up to 72 hours before the scheduled time of your jump by referring to the contact information in your booking confirmation email.
Failure to arrive at dropzone before boarding time will be counted as a no-show.

Your booking may be transferred to another name at any time up until registration at the dropzone. This service is free of charge, however all participants are subject to the same physical and medical limitations.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations under the circumstances where it appears to happen bad weather, the other unforeseen operational difficulties or a customer has provided an invalid credit card, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservation contains or resulted from a mistake or error. In addition, we also reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our Terms and Conditions. If a customer chooses to not show up on time/date of arrival, a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked. In the cases of the aforementioned booking cancellations, Skydive Chiang Mai has no obligation to guarantee new available bookings or best rates. A new booking at the best available rate will need to be made by the customer at the time of the new reservation.

As a condition of using this website, you agree to provide proof of payment to the dropzone reservations department within 48 hours of the time of booking and will indicate the reservation confirmation number on the proof of payment. You will be fully responsible for any banking fees and/or costs required to complete the bank fund transaction(s). Furthermore, you acknowledge that the reservation may be cancelled by the dropzone if proof of payment is not submitted to the dropzone within the 48-hour notice period. You will be responsible for any cancellation or no show penalties that might be incurred and hereby acknowledge that booking and personal contact information provided is correct for the dropzone’s validation purposes.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

If you do not meet the safety and dress code requirements as stated, fail to comply with acceptable conduct, or disrupt the enjoyment of others, we reserve the right to refuse our service. In such a case we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you.

SKYDIVING WEIGHT LIMITS

For safety reasons, we are unable to skydive with those over 110kg and the limit may be lowered to 99kg in adverse wind conditions. An overweight surcharge shall be applied, please see the FAQs section for the rates. Customers weighing over 99kg, will require an additional assessment by our Drop Zone Safety Officer or Tandem Master due to restrictions to the harness size, weather conditions and safety reasons.

 DISCLAIMERS

As a condition of your use of this website, you warrant to Skydive Chiang Mai that you will not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions and notices. Although Skydive Chiang Mai may from time to time monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, bulletin boards and the like on this website, Skydive Chiang Mai is under no obligation to do so and assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such locations nor for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on the website. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. Skydive Chiang Mai will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing Skydive Chiang Mai to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, Skydive Chiang Mai and its affiliates shall not be responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non-performance of obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

INSURANCE

Skydive Chiang Mai strongly recommends you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy include, but not be limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses. We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred during any point of your engagement of our services, including but not limited to transportation to/from pickup locations, activities on the ground at the dropzone, and the jump itself. While we do provide storage lockers, CCTV and a security team at our facility, we accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings at any time. Personal Accident Insurance is available for purchase upon arrival at the dropzone.

VARIATION

Skydive Chiang Mai may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will apply to the use of this website from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on this website. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

MEDIA PACKAGES

In the unlikely event of a full video and/or pictures failure, a refund will be issued for the payments thereof, however no refund or re-jump will be issued for the tandem skydive. Due to the nature of skydiving, certain aspects of the media are not guaranteed (e.g. landing footage), as safety is our primary concern.

Purchased media will be sent via a link to the supplied email address only and as normally takes no longer than 48 hours after the jump date. The customer must download your media package within 7 days of jumping before expiring. This can be downloaded on a computer using WiFi. We do not supply any hard copies of the media purchased.

MEDIA MALFUCTIONS

Video packages are only refundable in the case of technical difficulty, such as camera malfunctions. We do our best to ensure all photos and videos are of the highest quality, employing the latest camera technology and techniques. Please also understand that the skydive itself is not refundable under any circumstances, even in the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the accompanying video / photos.

Kindly note that this Refund Policy applies only to bookings made directly with Skydive Chiang Mai. If booking through an agent, please refer to their policies and understand that Skydive Chiang Mai will not be responsible for refunding any payment not made directly to the company.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTIES

Skydive Chiang Mai does not control any third-party website and is therefore not responsible for the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. Skydive Chiang Mai provides such links only as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by Skydive Chiang Mai of the linked website or any information contained in it.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

If inclement weather or technical problems with the aircraft or instructors prevents skydiving on the day booked, you will be able to do one-time rebook a mutually convenient date free of charge. Refunds can be made under these circumstances and must be informed immediately to Skydive Chiang Mai before leaving the dropzone. Besides requesting for a refund, the customer will be told to return to the dropzone within 180 days of each unsuccessful attempt.

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

The products and/or services described in and available through the site may not be available in your country. We make no representation that the services or products offered in the site are appropriate or available for use in any particular location. The site is operated from Thailand and it is governed by the laws of Thailand.
